Michael E. McCarthy

Michael E. McCarthy is a graduate of St. John's Law School (J.D.), The Harriman School for Policy Analysis, State University of New York (M.S.), and Eisenhower College of the Rochester Institute of Technology (B.A.).

Mr. McCarthy was a prosecutor with the Office of the Suffolk County District Attorney from 1989 to 1994, serving in the District Court and Family Crime Bureaus.  He prosecuted serious felony offenses and lesser crimes as an Assistant District Attorney.  Prior to admission to the New York bar, Mr. McCarthy clerked for a large New York City law firm in the area of municipal finance.

Mr. McCarthy serves as Secretary of the Brehon Society.  He is a Legal Committee Member of Catholic Charities. Mr. McCarthy is a member of the New York State and Suffolk County Bar Associations.    His areas of concentration include criminal practice, real property transactions, probate and estate work and corporate practice.
