Christopher Modelewski
Christopher Modelewski is a graduate of Hofstra Law School
(J.D.) and The State University of New York College at Oswego (B.A.). Mr.
Modelewski is a former Assistant County Attorney with the Suffolk County
Attorney's Office, a former Special Assistant District Attorney, Suffolk
County, and a former Assistant Town Attorney from the Town of Huntington.
Mr. Modelewski worked as a Congressional Staff Assistant and a union construction
worker before commencing the practice of law.
Mr. Modelewski formerly represented the Suffolk County Police
Department, Suffolk County Sheriff's Department, and other agencies and
officials of Suffolk County, before the Supreme Court of the State
of New York. While a Senior Assistant in the Office of the Huntington
Town Attorney, Mr. Modelewski prosecuted serious violations of the Town
Code in the District Court, and successfully obtained injunctions barring
the illegal use of land.
Christopher Modelewski is admitted to practice before
the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals
for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and
the United States District Court, Eastern District, New York. He is a
member of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Huntington.
Mr. Modelewski is a member of the New York State and Suffolk County Bar
Associations, and a member of the New York Trial Lawyers Association.
He concentrates in the areas of civil litigation, municipal law, land
use, commercial law and personal injury practice
